Specialist Leaders of Education

Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools. They understand what outstanding leadership practice in their area of expertise looks like and are skilled in helping other leaders to achieve it. Each one has undergone a rigorous selection process and training by The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).

We currently have 30 SLEs within our teaching school alliance, who are able to offer support to other schools at a rate of £350 per day. As a teaching school we have the capacity to offer SLE support tailored to your needs. This can range from a one day support, delivery of INSET or CPD to a team, working with other leaders or peers over a longer period of time.

Details of our SLEs are found in the directories below. To request SLE support or more information please contact Helen Winter at hwinter@bishopr.co.uk
